  1. Well done for getting your embedded presentation online. You've clearly completed the task and the standard is good. Well chosen pictures and a solid understanding of the key elements. There are a couple of elements you will need to be careful with when it comes to later production work. In particular you need to consider a consistent house style (you've even changed the masthead between the two magazines) and think carefully about your font choices. Don't be afraid to copy the fonts in your research.

  2. You need to make sure that you create a new post called - 00. Teacher's Comments, so that you can post this comment and the one before it. Please do that during tomorrow's lesson.

Given that you worked with Joe and Connor, much of what I have written here will simply be copied and pasted...

You have done a pretty good job of getting used to the camera, and I am particularly impressed by the way that you used lighting and attended to detail in terms of mise en scene in the last of your photographs. You've displayed your pictures well, but it is not perfectly clear that you understand the full relationship between shutter, iso and fstop (iris). Make sure that you are aware of that, especially as you start to take the photos for your music magazine. When you feel you have really taken a good photo, make a note of those three elements because you will tend to return to the same settings often, with just small changes for artistic effect.

Your first task lacked some attention to detail, especially in the use of fonts and layout/design features. It is really important that you build the habit in this next task by really trying to copy some features from existing media. Copy the fonts, copy the layout, arrange the sell lines to really resemble the ones you have researched. This could see you achieving an A grade in the first properly assessed mock task.
